Custom Policy Reporting

Reports allow you to save a set of customized filters with configured columns to share with other members of your team. You have the ability to pull the Reports to help efficiently and effectively manage the policies and data you care about most.

Every practice, every firm, and every policy are different, so we've invented a way to allow you to manage your policies and data the way you want to- by giving you the ability to efficiently find the policies that matter to you, when they matter to you.  With Proformex you can save the Reports, share the Reports and work on them from the Reports section of the platform.

What is a Report

Reports in Proformex are created when you save a set of filters and column configurations using the button on the Life Policies, Annuities, Agents, or Owners pages.  Whenever you create a set that helps you efficiently manage and monitor the policies and data in the way in which you want- save them as an individual Report.

Click here for an article that explains how to use the tools on the Life Policies page to create a search and save it as a Report. A similar workflow is used on the Annuities, Agents, and Owners pages as well.

Once you have saved a Report, it is available from the Reports section.  To get to one of the Reports pages, select the Reports option in the top Navigation bar and then select the appropriate Reports page.

Reports 1-1

A list of default and saved Reports will be listed under Policy Reports.  Click on the title of any to open the Report.

Default Reports

To get you started, Proformex has created 14 basic, standard Reports. Some of which include:

  • Conversion Period Ends within 90 Days: Inforce term policies with the Conversion Period coming up in the next 90 days
  • Term Periods Ends within 90 Days: Inforce term policies with the level term period ending within the next 90 days
  • Opportunities: Policies which Proformex's in-house algorithm has identified as likely benefitting from a Review
  • At-Risk: Policies which Proformex's in-house algorithm has identified as being at risk of losing coverage

Proformex also has best practice suggestions for creating your own advanced Reports.  Click here for those.

Reports are Dynamic

Reports are a saved group of filters- not a saved group of policies.  After you save a Report, the next time you return to it, policies that have entered the criteria will be in the Report, and policies that no longer meet the criteria will not be included.

So once you've created a Report, you can return to it again and again to monitor the policies which fall inside the filter parameters you have set.

Reports can be Shared

Once you save a Report, it can be shared with any other Account Admin, Professional, or Office Manager type user within your firm.  Once you save a Report, you are considered the Report Owner.

To share a Report, select the button on the top right side of the Report.  The Share Report modal will appear.

A list of Account Admins, Professional, and Office Manager users in your firm will populate the list of available users to share with.  Select the users you want to share the Report with and then click the button.

If you don't see the option it is because you are viewing a Report another user has created and shared with you.  You can save it as your own Report by using the option, so that you may modify and then share it with others, if desired.

To Unshare a Report, go through the same actions as when Sharing a Report, but uncheck the User you no longer wish to have access to the Report.

Report Owners can Delete Reports

As a user, you can delete any Reports which you create by using the option at the top right of the Report

You cannot delete a Report which was shared with you.  If the Report Owner deletes a Report, then it is also deleted for any user the Report was shared with.

Reports May Differ Between Users

Remember- Proformex allows different users to have access to different policies, depending on their User type and which policies an Account Administrator has shared with them.  If you share a Report with another user who does not have access to a policy in the Report, that user will still not have access to the policy, so they will not see the policy in the Report.

You can export the policies in the Report and share it via excel if you need to confirm the Report is shared exactly as you view it.

Reports Will Help You Work

The Reports page will become an integral part of your practice because it will provide you a place where you can store the parameters for many different types of policies and many different types of insurance scenarios, allowing you to quickly find and work on the policies that you want to monitor.

We provide some great best practice examples of Report options here.

We constantly work to improve Proformex and we love it when we hear feedback from you on how to do it better.  Please contact your Customer Success Manager directly or submit a Support ticket with your idea or suggestion- we promise we will read it!
